Choosing A Bed Size
Space and comfort play a crucial role in your ability to get a good
night's sleep. When you think that most Americans spend an
astounding 1/3 of their lives in bed, deciding what size mattress to
buy can be a very important decision.
King-sized mattresses are perfect for two adults who have the
tendency to "toss and turn" throughout the night. With the
bed's large size, it enables each adult to move around in comfort
without disturbing the other.
Queen-sized mattresses are probably the most commonly used
mattresses for two adults who move only an average amount over the
course of the night. They allow enough space for each person without
the vast expanse of the King sized mattress.
Full-sized mattresses are generally suitable for one adult. While
they are large enough to sleep two people, the full-sized mattress
significantly limits the personal space that each individual has.
Twin-sized mattresses are perfect for children or one adult. Often,
it is a good idea to furnish a child's room with two twin-sized
beds, creating a fun environment for slumber parties and overnight
guests.
When ordering Sheet Sets, Comforters,
Blankets and other bedding, use the chart below. If not otherwise
indicated, Sheet Sets fit a standard mattress 7" to 9"
high. Additionally, some Sheet Sets will fit mattresses up to
12" or 14" high (see individual product descriptions).
Queen waterbed bedding fits waterbeds 60" x 84". King
waterbed bedding fits waterbeds 72" x 84".
